After 3 breathtaking movies, the beginning of the conclusion of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 1, is lastly in theaters. Definately not a happy occasion, the film should disappoint any fans of the book series. Anybody expecting for so that it is similar to the book is going to be shocked by how drastically it’s been changed.
Opening having a bang, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) lastly get married and continue their steamy honeymoon to a gorgeous private island off of the coast of Brazil. Bella suddenly realizes that she is pregnant using a half-human, half-vampire child, so she and her husband rush back residence to Forks, Washington. Edward is extremely concerned for Bella’s Health, knowing the dangers a vampire baby brings.
The story shifts into Bella’s painful pregnancy as the audience views her agony and her struggles towards wanting to survive through this horrible tragedy. The vampire baby can be a significantly bigger danger than she could have ever guessed.
The film is frightenting to view, generating hearts beat rapidly through the entire 117 minutes. The story is filled with sudden twists and turns that hold the audience wide-eyed in shcok the entire time.
The beginning of the movie clashes with the end since it starts joyously but unexpectedly turns right into a gore fest. When the story shifts into Bella’s catastrophic pregnancy, the movie becomes much more being a horror film instead of a stirring romantic story.
The movie loses most of its action and passion and turns into a bloody and gross death scene as the audience watches Bella slowly weaken although her body stops working in to a disgustingly scrawny shell. Given that she’s so undernourished, we watch her drink the blood of humans, in one of the most revolting scenes. Witnessing her pregnancy isn’t just the only horrid scene; when she gives birth by the end, the viewers are appalled. Never to spoil anything, that scene could make even those using the strongest of stomaches turn queasy.
A far cry from your original book, Breaking Dawn Part You are a disappointment to any hardcore fan of the series, who anticipated to begin to see the romance continue. Jumping the shark from romance to horror was not the best way to go.
Hopefully, Breaking Dawn Part Two will probably be much happier and can bring the Twilight romantic magic back that fans have eagerly expected.
