Robert Pattinson has revealed it was Kristen Stewart that lured him into accepting his ‘Twilight’ role.  The hottie Robert Pattinson admits that he had not heard of the Stephanie Meyer Twilight books before. Indeed, Seymour’s books have enjoyed a boost including the non-Twilight saga tomes.  Women the world over have much to thank Kristen Stewart for.

Briton Pattinson was on the receiving end of an eviction notice in the U.K. the day he got the Edward part. Media insiders are already calling the Twilight films a starmaking saga. Pattinson at that time was best known for a part in one of the Harry Potter movies. Twilighters know that it was the chemistry between RPattz and K Stew that clinched the role for Pattinson.

The 23-year-old-actor said: “I read the script of Twilight and I barely knew that they were books too, so I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. The only reason I went to the audition was to see Kristen because I had just seen Into the Wild. Of course I had a little crush on her.”

And look what happened!

Kristen playing the rebel may become a significant character flaw if her ire gets raised over Aunt Pattinson’s comments. The Joan Jett project the Runaways will alter her screen image from America’s sweetheart to underground hellhound, especially with a girl/girl kissing scene with Dakota Fanning.

Filmgoers later this year and next looking to see sweet little Bella in theaters will have their ears blown off as rocker Jett (as played by Stewart) will blast those hard candy shells right off the onscreen twilight personas beloved by Vamp saga fanzines. Will Stewart blow the movie watchers out of their seats? Or is she, like Pattinson, getting other film projects going in case the Twilight New Moon box office doesn’t last?

Robert Pattinson claims in an interview on MTV Awards night he is working an untitled dramatic love story project. Would this mean R Patzz might be in multiple multiplex movies come the holiday season? That’s a smart bet for studios looking to cash in on the Pattinson movie mystique and the hordes of teenage fangirls looking to see him on the big screen.

But will Twilight get any Oscar love? Many movies and popular films in recent years have scored at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences honors. it’s a sure thing next year’s oscarcast will have Bella and Edward (make that Robert and Kristen) presnting something.
