Though the connection between the names growing in popularity isn’t necessarily caused by the Twilight Saga, it seems a remarkable coincidence. Isabella was the most popular girl’s name last year as well, while Jacob has been the most popular boys name for over a decade. The name Bella is also growing in popularity; it has climbed from 749 in 2000 to number 48 on the list in 2010.

Mom’s don’t love all of Stephenie Meyer’s character’s names, though: Edward lags far behind Jacob, coming in at 136. Cullen, though, has had a recent spike in popularity: It was the 782nd most popular name in 2008 and has jumped up the list to 413. The rest of the Cullen clan’s names are moving up on the list, too. Esme just cracked the top 1000 to land at 921 this year, which is apparently the highest it’s been since 1879. Emmett and Jasper climbed up the charts as well, jumping up hundreds of slots in the last few years, as has the name Rosalie.

Jacob seems to be the only popular werewolf name; the rest seem to be dropping. The Social Security Administration reports that Paul, Jared, and Seth have all declined in popularity in the past 10 years, while Sam has managed to hold steady. The human characters’ names aren’t fairing much better, with Renee dropping in popularity and Charlie increasing just slightly over the past few years. Billy, Tyler, and Lauren have all declined in popularity as well.  Luckily for baby girls everywhere, Renesmee has yet to make the top 1000 list.

Taylor Lautner also known for his character as the werewolf hottie Jacob had picked up the Choice Fantasy: Movie Actor and Choice Male: Hottie gongs. Our favorite love team Robert and Kristen got the Choice Summer Movie Star: Male and Choice Summer Movie Star: Female award.

Congrats to Rob , Kristen, Jacob and the rest of the Twilight casts.

According to New York Magazine, Summit is going to pay them 25 million dollars each against 7.5 per cent of the theatrical gross for their character.

“A 20 million dollar pay day was typically reserved for A-list stars back in hey day of big salaries,” says New York Daily News

Paul Dergarabedian of Hollywood.com says that these Twilight stars have landed in Will Smith’s ground.

The 18-year-old hottie lives with his parents when he’s not working and he even admitted that he’s also doing some of the household tasks.

“I help out with the lawn, garbage, dishes”, he said.

His parents don’t even let him off with his tasks when he comes back home after his onscreen duties.

“When I come back, I have extra mowing to do.” he joked.

Now guys, this is another reason why we should love Taylor Lautner.

Not long, Summit Entertainment has released a poster featuring Edward Pattinson, Bella Swan and Jacob Black and there was another poster of the Volturi Clan and another poster featuring Riley Biers.

This one once again gives us Jacob, but this time Jacob Back is among his wolf pack family. Featured in the front is Jacob Black then on the right we have Leah Clearwater and Seth Clearwater  in the very back then there’s Paul on the front left. Some other members are Embry Call, Quil Ateara and Jared.

On a press release, Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Bill Condon will be handling the said project.

Condon said, “I’m very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life on-screen. As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book, and we’re hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience,”

Stephanie Meyer was even thrilled that Bill would be working with them but she was excited to see what he does with the project.

I guess Twilight saga: Breaking Dawn will start filming this coming October (I am not yet sure of it but that’s what I’ve heard).

Now there are three promo pictures of Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black that have been released.

There were cardboard cut-out size individual posters of them and they’re really awesome.  I am very much sure that a lot of Twilight fans out there who already have their own poster collections of these Eclipse promo pics.

The preview flicks online are heating up as New Moon approaches the start gate. Jacob shows it like it is with some Victoria chewing and canine capers. Poor Bella can’t seem to find herself on the sunny side of the supernatural dating pool, but the graphics are fun to watch. Does the place name of “Forks” denote a habitual slide of the locals’ DNA to random leaps of nature?
