Closer look at Bella’s Wedding Dress

By now, most Twi-hards have already seen Bella Swan walk down the aisle in her extremely anticipated wedding to Edward Cullen. But, what they may not have seen are these fresh photos of Bella’s wedding dress.
The wedding gown, custom fitted for Stewart, was created out of crepe satin and French Chantilly Lace by famed designer Carolina Herrera, who has fashioned wedding dresses for the likes of Renee Zellweger, Mariska Hargitay and Christina Hendricks.
Stephenie Meyer, personally selected Herrera for the job.

“My favorite designer, Carolina Herrera, did the wedding dress,” Meyer stated. “I wanted the dress to be something special, not something that you’re going to see every day. I love what Carolina did with it, she came up with a stunning concept. It’s similar to what I envisioned, but with added elements.”

But that’s not all. Its complex style included 152 buttons along the back of the dress and 17 buttons along each sleeve.

Needless to say, the dress didn’t come cheap. While Twilight-loving fashionistas can scoop up a replica at Alfred Angelo bridal dress company for $799, the real wedding gown, which took four seamstresses and six months to complete, has an estimated value of $35,000.

For those willing to invest big money for the real thing, however, Herrera is planning to include the design in her 2012 collection via her CHNY boutiques next year.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ Cast Film Poster Exposed!

At last! A Breaking Dawn movie poster with some cast members is out.

According to MTV News’ Hollywood Crush, the new Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 film poster isn’t technically new as a similar one was shown at Comic-Con on the last month, but we’re still happy to see it.

Robert Pattinson holds tight to Kristen Stewart as Taylor Lautner appears by her side in the front as the rest of the Cullen coven fills in the background.

Lie down on Edward’s bed

Twifanatics! You may not be able to kiss your favorite vampire Edward Cullen, but you may choose to be ready to lie down in his bed. Hmm, sounds cool.

Director Catherine Hardwicke owns the bed in which Edward and Bella shared their 1st smooch on the 1st movie, and Hardwicke is planning of placing it up for auction. The amount of money, will profit the Step Up Women’s Network.

Hardwicke took the bed home right after the shooting has completed on the first movie and she’s entirely glad to give it up, but there’s one thing keeping her back.

She is wondering if anyone would be interested in buying it. But OMG, I suppose the Twifanatics are certainly more interested in this piece of movie collectibles.

Robert Pattinson amazingly asked what was on Twilight so special

Robert Pattinson could not see what was all about the film Twilight so special that so many people love it. According to him, when he read the script it didn’t make him appeal and that moment and now he didn’t expect how he fame he was as Edward Cullen in Twilight.

He actually said:

“When I first read [the Twilight script], it didn’t appeal to me,” and “I couldn’t understand what was so special and why everybody was so into it.”

He continued and talked about his leading ladies like Kristen Stewart, Reese Witherspoon, Uma Thurman and Emile de Ravin.

“I like hot girls,” he laughed. “I like being in movies with lots of hot girls.” and “They’re all very strong, actually, I always end up being in movies with very experienced and passionate people. They’re never just flimsy floozies.”

Last year, if you can still remember, Volvo and Twilight Saga: New Moon had teamed up for a contest and it was participated by nearly 300,000 participants and the winners were given a new Volvo XC60. And now, Volvo is back to give Twilight fans one more chance to win a brand new Saville Grey metallic XC60, just similar to what Edward is driving.

“Lost in the Forks” is the new Volvo commercial that features some of the “Twilight Eclipse” scenes and this commercial is created to promote the upcoming “Twilight Saga: Eclipse”

Movie Exclusive Photo leak from Twilight Eclipse

I know many of you can’t wait any longer to see the most anticipated movie of this year “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” which will hit the theaters this coming June 30. Here are two leaked pictures from the movie which includes Edward and his vampire clan and another photo of him together with her beloved girl, Bella.

The vampires look very professional in that picture while Bella and Edwards looks so romantic.

The Twilight Saga movies did amaze me, so I would never let pass Eclipse because I am very sure that it’s gonna be a blast.

Rob and Kristen and Taylor are killing at Comic-Con 2009.

Robert Pattinson brought up one important point during the “New Moon” promotional interviews. Pattinson pointed out that while Edward is seen as the hero, it is the case that in every movie it’s Bella who saves him.

Summit Entertainment has released the official and full Cast Announcement for New Moon (sequel to Twilight).

No big surprises at this point. We recently heard the Aro and Caius castings.

Some other castings:

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner return in their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black (of course).

Chris Weitz (THE GOLDEN COMPASS) is the director.

NEW MOON is filming on locations in Vancouver, BC and Tuscany, Italy.

In case you haven’t kept up with the latest book news :

Back in 2008 Stephanie Meyers (author of the Twilight Series) began a rewrite of Twilight from Edward’s perspective.

She thought it would be interesting to explore his thoughts and fill in the gaps where he was missing (Canada trip in the 1st book, etc).

Apparently the early draft was leaked – much to Stephanie’s chagrin – Read about it here.

Stephanie has since stopped worked on writing the exercise and it may never be completed or published.

As a gift to her fans she’s released the early draft on her site for everyone to read.

If you are an arden fan – go for it. Only a few chapters but hey. free.

When 17 year-old Bella Swan moves to the town of Forks, she is sure that she’ll hate it there, as she has avoided the place enough in the past. The weather is misty and rainy there, unlike Arizona where she is from. Now she’ll be forced to start all over again, with new friends and a new school. She makes friends with a boy named Edward Cullen. Their friendship is slow to develop, but over time Bella falls in love with him. She knows there is something different about him, but she can’t quite figure out what it is.

Bella learns about a group of vampires who no longer prey upon humans, but they are still shunned by everyone. She realizes Edward is a vampire, but that doesn’t change her feelings for him at all. Edward became a vampire when he was 17, and his love for Bella torments him every day….because he has never really lost his taste for human blood, and he doesn’t want to hurt her.

Twilight is the story of Edward and Bella’s unlikely romance. It’s really unlike any vampire novel you’ve ever read. It’s in a class of its own, crossing age and gender barriers. In my opinion, it’s a book for everyone.

The story is told from Bella’s point of view, so that the reader is making discoveries right along with her. By the end of the book, I wanted to know all there was to know about the Cullen family and its history. Hopefully, the next books will delve into it in greater detail. Bella’s character is really realistic and very well portrayed. She is shy and unassuming, but with a sarcastic edge to her personality that speaks to the reader.

Twilight is finely written, and the descriptive elements put you in the middle of the story. You can almost hear the rain falling in Forks. Bella and Edward’s love story is truly compelling, as they seem to be destined to fail. Challenge after challenge is thrown their way, and by the end of the book they are in a fight for their very existence.

Twilight is a vampire story for those who aren’t really into “blood and guts”. Romance novel readers, adults, and fans of vampire mythology will all find something to like about this book. I know I couldn’t put it down!

This is a long book, but don’t let that scare you away. By the time you’re done, you will definitely want to know more!
