US magazine has Robert Pattinson inset on the cover with a tangle of women allegedly worrying him. Joined with quotes from Mike regarding the Pattinson Effect (screaming girls, bruised taxis, extra security) and we’ve got one popular young man here. Inside the magazine on page 56-57, ruminations of an unhappy Kristen Stewart working on the Joan Jett movie while Pattinson steps out with Emilie de Ravin on a “vampire vacay” suffuse the prose.
Entertainment Weekly has cited Pattinson’s band as a musical “Must”, which means RPattz has something to fall back on if that acting thing never works out. K Stew’s new best friend Dakota Fanning gives Stewart more associative star power while Pattinson remains a loner. One wonders if the agent/managers of these young stars couldn’t have planned filming projects that kept them in the same area code.
But if the rumors of Kristen hanging all over someone called Russell Brand are true, the Ok corral/Eclipse set in August should make for the stuff of television shooting soap opera not seen since the early days of “Twin Peaks”. If Ted Casablancas is right, his E column traces a lot of canoodling throughout the Twilight sequel’s cast. Here’s hoping all the extracurriculur activity doesn’t wring the movie chemistry out of the wash.
