I have just finished “New Moon” I can’t believe I read it that fast. I was itching to finish Twilight and then it was done and I was so bummed! Lucky there are three more books after “Twilight”. I predict these books will be approaching being as well read in coming years as the Harry Potter books.
The writing of Stephanie Meyer continues to impress me. The characters of Edward and Bella are so simply portrayed you are really burned in for the new story. But the secondary storyline of the Indian reservation, Jacob, Billy and the rest present a whole new ‘hood of Forks.

Understandably there are those who wish NOT to know the rest of the story so the below text is whited out, select to highlight and read.
It always made sense that Jacob and Bella would hook up, but not only because the wolf pack matures at the Indian reservation. Bella has been sensitized to the supernatural world. Also, the fact that Billy and his reservation clan have something to hide explains his super sensitivity to Bella’s exposure to Edward.
But the real secret of the book New Moon is that when Jacob sees the scar in Bella’s hair we know the jig is up. The vampire James has broken the truce. That means the Cullen coven is fair game.
