All twi-hards rejoice!
New Moon grossed over 140 Million for the weekend – 3rd highest in movie history (behind Dark Knight and Spider Man 3)
We are betting that it won’t stop anytime soon.
We were in line for an hour Saturday night to see the next installment in the Twilight franchise and we were not disappointed.
I’ll be posting a full review laster today.
But the reports were correct – Weitz kept very well to the book and for that we were very pleased.
I imagine we’ll be going again this weekend.
Twilight opened up last year with a gross of only 70 million.. So I’d say that’s an immense improvement.
Also of note according to Summit nearly 80% of movie-goers were female (take note single men… good place to meet the ladies..)
Don’t forget the score is available for purchase tomorrow.
I’ve heard a bit of it already and although I don’t think there are any pieces that quite match Twilights ‘Bella’s Theme’ – it is quite a good score.
