Blue Moon?
By now, New Moon, the sequel to Twilight has got to the most anticipated sequel in recent years. Not since “Lord of the Rings” have fans been so rabidly excited about a movie release. And ‘New Moon” is not so heavily dependent on cgi effects, although it is a literary adaptation with immortal tropes, as LOTR was.
Rumors of an online petition to rush the movie’s release to summer of 2009 have been resisted thus far by studio executives. New Moon may make a major motion picture out of Taylor Lautner, the beef-up beefcake Quileute Bella turns to when Edward moves on. By some accounts shooting and principal photography on New Moon has not even concluded. The film sequel has two films planned behind it.
