In case you haven’t kept up with the latest book news :
Back in 2008 Stephanie Meyers (author of the Twilight Series) began a rewrite of Twilight from Edward’s perspective.
She thought it would be interesting to explore his thoughts and fill in the gaps where he was missing (Canada trip in the 1st book, etc).
Apparently the early draft was leaked – much to Stephanie’s chagrin – Read about it here.
Stephanie has since stopped worked on writing the exercise and it may never be completed or published.
As a gift to her fans she’s released the early draft on her site for everyone to read.
If you are an arden fan – go for it. Only a few chapters but hey. free.

Hi–I really enjoy the Twilight Series. It is a shame about the unauthorized release of Midnight Sun–absolutely facinating to “hear” the story from Edward to compare with Bella. I love the concept. And the absolute sweetness of the story–entertain ing without being graphic. Thank you and i hope you reconsider & do this book–your fans will buy it and love it.

I love all your books. I am a stay at home mom of 9 and expecting #10. your books let me live outside of my own world sometimes. I really wish you would consider your book “Midnight Sun”. I would love to read the whole story! Best wishes, Marsha

I love all the Twilight books too, but i feel like Ms. Meyers has truly forgotten her fans, I know shes in the spotlight now and making all this money, and hey were paying it, after she left us with a taste of Midnight Sun now she just leaves us hanging, I would never have evan let anyone know about Midnight Sun if I werent gona publish it, Im a Twi fan but that really gets me!

I hope you will write a book with About Bella’s daughter wanting to do something for Rosalie. Rosalie wanted a child of her own but since becoming a vampire she will never be able to have a child.. Renesmee being Half Human tries to have a child for Rosalie. Rosalie had protected both bell and renesmee. This is there way of giving Rosalie a reason to enjoy life as a vampire and giving her her dream. a family of her own. The Volturi find out and do not want either to exist because it will cause another race of vampire Hybrids. The Cullens and the pack of Wolves fight to save both mother and child. Rosalie and Emmet will not allow there dreams to be shattered. Jacob will not allow anyone one to hurt the love of his life. Nobody knows if renesmee can carry a child but she would like to try for Rosalie and then someday to have a family of her own. I think this would be another great story line .!!! so please Stephanie consider it!!!!

I have been so addicted to all four of your twilight saga books and also read the draft of Midnight Sun. I hope so much that Stephanie re-considers and finishes or re-writes Midnight Sun. I also think that Stephanie could write a book whichs tells the story of Renesmee and her life with Jacob. And I totally agree with jhewels……what a story that would be about Rosalie having a family of her own with the help of Renesmee. Why stop the Twilight saga at Breaking Dawn????…….Carry on the story a further more, Ok not so much the love story of Bella and Edward as thats come to an end now but with Renesmee and Jacob? or Rosalie and a family??? And finish the Midnight Sun too, I for one am hanging on and waiting for an ending to Edwards story. I hope Stephanie realises how much her fans are just sat waiting in patience for more Twilight saga storys! I am off to watch the Eclipse film tonight but that seems so long ago reading that book that I need the film of Breaking Dawn to hurry up and come!

Stephaine please finishe the Midnight Sun book. You wrote 264 pages and got me totally into it. Of course you stop when the kissing and love scences come in. I was dying to know if Edward could control himself ( being a vampire or not) Bella of course can not and i wanted to see if those feeling were that strong or stronger than hers. Please finish the book about out there touching scenes are ok from them to continue this intense relationship. i want to know how it feels to want her so badly and the feeling he felt when he did kiss her and hold her in his arms. i wan to see houw of a real man he real is and how he controls it for her sake. Please finish writing Midnight Sun. Thanks so much .

Hi Stephanie, just read midnight sun and loved it from Edwards perspective you have got to reconsider finishing the book for all of your fans who love your books it would be a great success. Midnight Sun give Edward so much more depth and I can see how Rob understood how to play Edward after reading it. Cant wait for the films Breaking Dawn 1 and 2. You are a star

I would just like to say it really feels like the fans are being punished b/c someone posted the draft. If it is just about the money, I don’t think that should be the issue. Everyone will still buy it even if they have already read the draft. I have read it at least 20 times. Anyone who has all 4 twilight books will by midnight sun to have the whole collection. Again I do not think we should be punished for one person’s mistake. We are dedicated fans and I think we have earned at least a comleted draft. Only giving us the chance to read a partial draft is really messed up.

It really sucks that someone published Midnight Sun. I can’t even imagine how you must feel. I know I would be angry / pissed. But, please consider what your fans want and are asking for. Without them, you wouldn’t be where you are today. You truly have hard-core fans and your books are amazing. Don’t end Twilight because of this mishap. Please consider finishing Midnight Sun and extending the series.

i think that if in midnight sun(draft) they change any of the characters the movie will suck but i will still watch it.
