Kristen Stewart and her chemistry with Taylor Lautner helped Lautner keep the Jacob role for New Moon. Taylor has flipped out Twi-fans with his weight gain and muscle massing. Reports say that Stewart and Chris Weitz campaigned to keep Lautner in the role despite Summit studio fears he couldn’t keep up with Jacob’s wolfish transformation.
