Both of them closed their eyes and brushed noises but that’s as close as they as they’d get.
A year later when they back on stage to accept the same award Kristen confessed:

Not like in the year 2009 they was just teasing the audience but last year MTV’s award they aleady kissed and that’s the reason fans imploded.
Now Rob confessed that the kiss didn’t work but millions of fans of Twilight totally disagree.
